On Miller Church Road (2018)

Ben traveled to a farm on Miller Church Road in Hagerstown where he discovered the Brown Swiss Cow. He would put on boots and go into the barnyard to get up close to the animal, reach out and stroke her hide and marvel at the chocolate, taupe color. He painted lots of this breed of cow....always revisiting the farm for fresh inspiration. Completed 2000.
