Nantucket Flower Shop

The focal point of many trips to Nantucket Island became a flower shop on Federal Street. Year after year the first place I would go would be this scene to gather information to make many different versions of it. After many years, anticipating how it would be arranged THIS time, I went to the scene and found that it was closed down and had become a restaurant. Of all the scenes I have painted this one remains a favorite.
