Laughing Gull

While visiting with friends in the Bethany Beach area, I often sat on the dock and watched many birds come and go. This one especially appealed to me----not like the usual and more frequent sea gulls. The bell was part of the whole thing and adds something not often seen. The bird book says that this is a “laughing gull”. I never heard any laughter.
