City Park, Deep Mid-Winter

Hagerstown’s city park is a fine setting for pictures such as this one. It is bleak and cold and monochromatic-----just like winter. But it is also very appealing. The earth is resting. I very much like the scene and the wonderful park. I loved every minute of working on the painting.
